The North Carolina Blueberry Scholarship Pageant is a scholarship program created to promote and support the blueberry culture of Burgaw and Pender County, NC along with the blueberry production throughout Eastern NC while also being involved in the community promoting community service and volunteerism.

Queens will participate in community service, community activities, and fundraising activities for the scholarship program while building self-confidence and lasting friendships. Queens will attend other festivals, surrounding area pageants, parades, and many other events while representing and sharing information about Burgaw, North Carolina’s blueberry-producing industry, and the scholarship program.
